Fenland District is asking you to help do your bit for the environment in the coming year and recycle your garden waste.
Join thousands of Fenland households in recycling your garden waste through Fenland District Council’s Garden Waste Service.
The recycled weeds, hedge and grass trimmings, leaves, fruits and vegetables are used to make free soil conditioner for residents.
Direct Debit subscriptions for the April 1, 2023-March 31 2024 Garden Waste Service are available for £39, 17 per cent off the standard price.
Debit card and cash payment will be available from January 2023 for £47.
Existing Direct Debit customers subscriptions will be automatically renewed in February 2023.
For more information and to sign up, visit: www.fenland.gov.uk/gardenwaste.
If you’d like some soil conditioner produced from the recycled garden waste, help yourself with a shovel and bag from Thalia’s Waste Transfer Station in Melbourne Avenue, March, PE15 0EN, between 8am and 4pm Monday-Friday.
Bags can also be bought for £2.50 at the Household Recycling Centres.
