Central Co-op’s George James and Son (Inc Brewins) Funeral Directors has been sponsoring March Library as a part of the Warm Spaces campaign, providing residents with a warm and friendly welcome.
Funeral cluster manager Edward Pearson, said: “We at George James Funeral Directors strongly believe in the Warm Spaces campaign. With a tough winter ahead for so many people, we are looking for anything we can do to help support, and give people even just a little bit of respite during a difficult time.”
The sponsorship allows March Library to provide tea and coffee, with Central Co-op also helping out with refreshments when needed.
The George James and Son has been sponsoring the warm space since December 22 and believes the facility can really make a difference to the community.
Every week so far this year, this warm space has been active, and Central Co-op is helping with a charity cake sale at March Library on Friday, February 3. This will raise money for the warm space and Dementia UK.
