A new author from the Fens hopes her first self-published book will "help young children who may be grieving for someone special".
Jane Somers, who lives in Doddington, said her book 'Look for the Robin' was inspired by her mum.
"She died when my sons were young," Jane said.
"We all used to take comfort whenever we saw a robin and believed it was granny coming to say hello and to let us know we were still loved.
"I have now written this book to try and help other young children who may be grieving for someone special.
"It's a hardback, beautifully-illustrated book with a poignant poem/message."
The book launch comes amid National Grieving Children's Month and Children's Grief Awareness Week, which is from November 16-23.
Jane said she has been "overwhelmed by the fantastic reviews and wonderful response from everyone".
