Coronation Street star Todd Boyce and Eastenders' Neil McDermott star in the dark psychological thriller Sleuth at Cambridge Arts Theatre.
In the play by Anthony Shaffer, a young man arrives at the impressive home of a famous mystery writer and is unwittingly drawn into 'a tangled web of intrigue and gamesmanship', where nothing is as it seems.
Written in 1970, Sleuth ran for 12 years in both London's West End and New York, and won the Tony Award for Best Play.
In 1972 the play was adapted into a film starring Laurence Olivier and Michael Caine, who both received Academy Awards for their performances.
Two subsequent film adaptations have been produced - a 2007 version starring Michael Caine and Jude Law and a British-Pakistani adaptation starring Omair Rana and Salman Shahid in 2014.
Todd Bryce is best known for playing series regular Stephen Reid in Coronation Street, and has also appeared in The Crown, Sherlock and Mr Selfridge.
Neil McDermott played Ryan Molloy in Eastenders, with other credits including Doctor Who and The Royal.
The play will be performed at Cambridge Arts Theatre from Monday,
March 18 to Saturday, March 23 at 7.30pm, with 2.30pm matinée performances on the Thursday and Saturday.

Another mystery-related play coming up at Cambridge Arts Theatre is 'hilarious' whodunnit Cluedo 2: The Next Chapter.
The play, based on the Hasbro board game, is set in the 1960s and features characters such as the honourable Mrs Emerald Peacock, 'Professor' Alex Plum, 'The Reverend' Hal Green and housekeeper Mrs White.

Written by BAFTA-winning TV writing duo Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran, the cast includes West End and TV star Jason Durr as Colonel Mustard and Coronation Street star and Strictly Come Dancing champion Ellie Leach as Miss Scarlett.
The production is directed by Mark Bell, who directed the original Cluedo play in the UK and the hugely successful The Play That Goes Wrong.
Performances will be held at 7.30pm from Monday, March 25 to Saturday, March 30, with 2.30pm matinée performances on the Thursday and Saturday.
