Drugs were seized after two people fled from police in Whittlesey.
Officers were patrolling Manor Field and Park one evening following reports of anti-social behaviour.
"While we were there, two people didn’t feel like hanging around to say hi and ran away," said a post on the Policing Peterborough Facebook page.
"But they left something behind… a pot containing cannabis! The pot has since been seized by us.
"We will continue our patrols there when we can. If you ever see us out and about, please come and speak to us, it is a great way to highlight your concerns to us."
