There is a high volume of traffic between March and Chatteris this evening (August 2) following a crash on the A141.
Cambridgeshire Constabulary have advised motorists to avoid that stretch of the road.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the force said: "A141 from Chatteris to March - avoid the location due to high volume of traffic due to a road traffic collision. Avoid the area if possible."
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “A crew from Chatteris attended a collision on the A141 between Doddington and Wimblington, near the Chatteris roundabout. They were called at around 5:30pm.
”Firefighters arrived to find a collision involving a van and a motorbike. They assisted ambulance crews with first aid and returned to their station by 6:20pm.”
Cambridgeshire Police and the East of England Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
