A police duo recently completed their Explosive Detection Dog (EDD) Handlers Course.
Police constable Mark West and police dog Hugo's new qualification aims to support and enhance service delivery across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.
"These dog and handler units are vital in detecting explosives and threats, thereby preventing potential acts of terrorism, and preventing harm or loss of life," said police.
"Well done to Mark and Hugo."
