A TikTok-famous Fenland woman is gearing up to open a new salon in her hometown this weekend.

Charlotte Graves - aka @raisinghadley on social media - will launch her new business, Ivy Reign Hair & Beauty, at Audmoor House in March on Sunday September 15.

The 30-year-old opened her first salon at the age of 19 and ran Tangled Up from 2014 to 2018. However, it was destroyed during a fire.

Fast forward six years and the mother of three said: "It's a bit wild today - we're currently unboxing mirrors and the electrician is coming this afternoon.

"All the girls have pulled together," she added, praising her team which includes Jodie, Jaque, Gemma, Megan, Freya, Chloe, Paige, Maddison, Abi and Natascha.

The Mayor of March will officially open the salon at around 11am on Sunday.

Local residents are invited to attend the launch event, which is being catered for by The Copper Cup.

Complimentary cocktails will also be on offer courtesy of a mixologist from The Acre pub.

"I'm very excited but it's been stressful getting to this point," added Charlotte.

"I really believe that we are going to make something good of this."

The historic building was once a register office, then housed the Cambs Times' newsroom and, until recently, was the home of March Physiotherapy Clinic.

Not only will Audmoor House become a hair and beauty salon - including barbering for men - but she plans to rent the many upstairs rooms out to a range of aestheticians from November.

The offerings will range from massages, nails and lashes to hair and even a Japanese head spa treatments.

That's still not all, however, as another of Charlotte's longer term plans is to have an on-site supervised play room upstairs too.

"We're just going to find out feet first and our way of working," Charlotte added.

Later this month, Ivy Reign will host a Macmillan Coffee Morning - on September 28 - were cakes and hot drinks will be on sale to raise money for the cancer charity.

The business has also partnered with local gym Snap Fitness, meaning that customers to either will receive a like-for-like 20% discount.

Looking to the future, Charlotte would also like to tap into the wedding fair market.

"All of our qualified beauticians are fully booked all month, but we have got some walk-in space available," she added.
