Plans to build a McDonald's restaurant and drive-thru in March have been pulled after five years.
The application to build on the corner of Hostmoor Avenue and Wisbech Road was initially submitted to the council in December 2019.
However, with little progress having been made, Fenland District Council's planning officers told agents acting on the company's behalf that they will need to submit a new application if they want to proceed.
The plans included building a restaurant/takeaway with drive-thru, seating area, car park and electric vehicle charging points on the site.
