The Gables care home in Chatteris celebrated charity days to raise awareness for breast cancer and Macmillan Cancer Research.

Residents and staff participated in various activities on October 18, including crafting sessions and the decoration of pink cupcakes.

The care home was festooned in pink for the occasion, with staff and residents donning pink clothing.

Amanda, the Singing Gardener, a regular entertainer, performed a selection of show tunes, concluding with a lively rendition of 'Lily the Pink'.

"We recently had a Macmillan Coffee Morning and today’s event for Breast Cancer Awareness was another big success.

"Many of our residents and staff know of someone affected by cancer, so we like to take part in these campaigns to raise awareness and send some money to these worthy causes."
