The opening date for a new donation centre set to open in a Fenland town this month has been announced.
The Salvation Army will open the charity shop on November 5 at the site of the former Topps Tiles store on Cromwell Road.
The store will offer a range of affordable items promoting sustainability and upcycling while offering value for money.
The 53rd of its kind in the UK, the donation centre will also offer a free collection service that can be booked by calling the team.
Manager of the donation centre Lorna Hazeltine said: "We have been blown away by the interest in the new donation centre prior to opening.
"We look forward to welcoming the people of Wisbech and carrying on the good work that the Salvation Army do."
Each year, SATCoL reuses and recycles over 250 million items; including 65,000 tonnes of clothing.
The centre is looking for social media volunteers to help engage with the local community and promote the store.
To arrange a free furniture collection, call 01945 661425.
