The Cambridge Science Centre is set to continue the popular "STEM in the Fens" project in Wisbech.
The centre will operate from the former Argos unit at Horsefair Shopping Centre, providing free, curriculum-based workshops and engaging STEM exhibits until 2025.
The project is aimed at deepening engagement with schools and community groups in Wisbech and surrounding areas, including March and Chatteris.
Project delivery lead, Joanne Staines, said: “We’re thrilled to bring Cambridge Science Centre back to Wisbech following a fantastic Spring season.
"Starting this month, we’ll be open every Tuesday and Friday for school and community group visits.
"Interested groups can contact us at schools@cambridgesciencecentre.org to book sessions.
"Also, for the remainder of this year, we are very pleased to offer schools the opportunity to request free transport to and from their school to our centre."
The initiative is funded by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority.
From January 2025, the centre advises checking their website, cambridgesciencecentre.org, or the Wisbech Centre notice boards for updates on expanded offerings and new programming.
