The people of March paid their respects to the fallen during poignant Remembrance and Armistice Day services.
The town council, who organised both events, said that thousands of people lined the streets on Sunday (November 10).
Monday's service was more intimate but no less powerful, as local residents, civil dignitaries and members of the Royal British Legion gathered at Gray's Lane ahead of the Armistice Day parade.
Standard bearers, escorts and veterans then stood to the side of the war memorial and lowered their flags for the minute's silence.
The Last Post was then played on a bugle.
The current mayor of March, Councillor Gary Christy, was in attendance, as well as former mayors Jan French and Rob Skoulding.
A spokesperson for the town council said: "The town's new layout lent itself to a gathering, so there were certainly a lot more people this year.
"It was very busy and absolutely beautiful," they added in reference to the Remembrance Day service.
