Two Kingsfield Primary School pupils had the honour of switching on the Chatteris' Christmas lights on November 30.
Excel and Evelyn, both in reception, joined Father Christmas on his sleigh and helped him press the big red button in front of a huge crowd.
The Kingsfield school choir then joined the Chatteris Community Choir at the Chatteris Church of St Peter and St Paul, performing two songs to a packed audience.
Executive headteacher Lisa Corby praised the community spirit.
